This place never disappoints with the Uber friendly service and great sushi. They also have a few Korean dishes like bibimbop. Don’t let the empty parking lot fool you. They only have 4 tables besides the sushi train seats. We had sashimi and sushi rolls. Everything fresh. Their sliced ginger was 100% fresh ginger. Gluten free soy sauce available

I'm not a sushi snob, I don't even really like seafood that much. I can do some seaweed and an occasional California roll, but I mostly stick to the veggie rolls, and let me tell you: this place has the BEST asparagus rolls I've ever had. The asparagus is fried, and the outside of the roll is crunchy...idk, the texture and flavor is just so good. My husband DOES like seafood and also loves the food here lol. Whenever we can't decide what to eat we come here. Thanks guys!

Best sushi place in the area! Ordered a few rolls and a bento box. The portion sizes are great, quality is good, and flavor is on point. The employees seem very nice and the restaurant itself is very clean! I am looking forward to eating there in person. Really glad I gave this place a try!

My husband and I just moved to Vancouver and went to Sakanaya Sushi for our anniversary dinner. All of the food was super fresh, presented exquisitely, and our server was lovely. Very friendly, casual atmosphere. The prices were very good as well. We will definitely be returning!

Our server was attentive and a great conversationalist! It was fairly slow when we went in and she was lovely. We ordered a few rolls and we eat every last piece! Amazing food, great service, and a memory my family will have forever. A wonderful meal!

This is our favorite sushi in Vancouver by far. The green dragon roll is a staple. Asparagus rolls are another of my favorite. My boyfriend loves their Vegas roll which says a lot considering he doesn’t like them elsewhere. The ramen is delicious. The cucumber salad is delicious. The calamari is delicious. Every thing we have tried, we love! The service is also always amazing. Fast and fresh.

My favorite sushi place in town lived in japan for years and I am a little fussy about my sushi but sakanaya always delivers exactly what I need the staff is always so amazing and kind, the sushi chefs are extremely skilled. Well worth it whether you're eating in or getting take out. Their udon and poke bowls are also very tasty! I highly recommend the sunshine roll if you like a little bit of citrus!
